RecurDyn is a modern CAE software suite which offers the unique combination of Multibody Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis and Controls. Dynamic Rigid and Flexible Body Analysis fully integrated linear and non-linear Finite Element Analysis capabilities let you create detailed, realistic models for design studies and improving your product's performance. By using your FE mesh directly in your RecurDyn model, you can simulate overall motion as well as local deformations and stresses. Model building, simulation and post-processing interfaces provide you with the best design and analysis tool for complex mechanisms. Fully integrated linear and non-linear Finite Element Analysis capabilities let you create detailed, realistic models for design studies and improving your product's performance.

Customizable
RecurDyn offers a variety of industry specific toolkits to model tracks, chains, belts and media transportation. You can customize RecurDyn using ProcessNet (PNet), which offers a programming interface based on the Microsoft .NET - Technology. PNet gives the RecurDyn user the possibility to write own macros in common programming languages like Visual Basic .NET or C#.

Powerful Solver
RecurDyn solver is 2 - 20 times faster than other dynamic solutions because of its advanced fully recursive algorithm. Whether you are simulating mechanisms, tracks, belts or chains, you can carry out more design iterations in less time.

Controls
RecurDyn offers its own controls toolkit. You have the opportunity to use the Co-Simulation with Matlab/Simulink or the attached controls interface to other 3rd party software tools e.g. Scilab.
